bestinbreed.org is open to all dog owners, whether you show or not. Membership is free, and all is encouraged to join, and participate. Benefits such as chat rooms, member's galleries, etc need your support by using these features.
If you are a new dog owner, or considering a new purebreed dog, by all means join and start asking questions. You do not have to be a member of a club, or show to participate. Once you decide to particiapte, you will be opened up to a whole new world.
